Advanced – 7:00 PM – 7:55 PM Sundays, Advanced students only. Instructor’s approval required.

Each course within these levels is unique, featuring distinct patterns and variations, ensuring a dynamic learning experience.

Beginner level

For those stepping into a dance class for the first time, the Beginner level provides the essential foundation. Register for these courses to grasp the mechanics of basic steps, lead and follow skills, and fundamental Tango movements. The beauty of the Beginner courses lies in the opportunity to review and repeat them at your own pace until you are confidently familiar with the material. Consider dedicating one to two years to this level to solidify your skills and become a more proficient dancer. Just like any skill development, success correlates with the time invested. In the Beginner level, you will delve into details such as:

Basic 8-Count Basics (Salida + Resolution)
Hamaca
Forward Ocho
Backward Ocho
Gancho
Molinete Clockwise and Counter Clockwise
Front and Back Voleos

Advanced level

For those ready to immerse themselves more deeply into Tango, the Advanced level is the perfect fit. Here, you’ll spend a significant amount of your free time dancing, refining your skills, and acquiring advanced lead and follow techniques. The focus is on developing smooth movements and grace, unveiling technical secrets that elevate your proficiency as a dancer. Improved lead and follow skills will empower you to confidently dance with different partners. Feel free to stay in this level for an extended period (two to three years recommended), but ensure you have your instructor’s consent before registering. This level promises a confidence boost in your dance abilities.
